Student Voice
Empower students to think critically, embrace diverse perspectives, and discover the strength of their own voice.
An equitable classroom begins with the belief that every student brings ideas worth sharing and the ability to learn with and from their peers—no exceptions.
When classrooms center student voice and perspective, rather than relying solely on the teacher's, learning becomes more meaningful, inclusive, and effective. My work focuses on helping educators create these kinds of learning environments—where every student is seen, heard, and engaged.

Kara helped us so much with our second grade social studies units! She helped us set goals for the year and follow steps to achieve those goals in our classroom. We were able to guide our students from passive listeners to actively generating topics of conversation with their peers to deepen their learning.
